We are a proud member of Sister Singers Network and GALA (the Gay & Lesbian Association of Choruses). What makes this group different is our structure. Everyone is on the board so we all make decisions about the group and whenever possible, do so by consensus. We’ve all made a commitment to deal with any issues that arise between us in an open and kind way, thus reducing the drama that can so easily take over a chorus. Libertarian Party of Sacramento – We, the members of the Libertarian Party of Sacramento hold that every person has a natural right to life, liberty, and justly acquired property; that liberty is essential to human happiness, survival, and creativity; and that force may only be justly used in defense of life, liberty, and property. We hold that each individual has the responsibility and obligation to respect the rights of others, and to accept the consequences of his or her own actions. We hold that no person or institution, public or private, has any right to initiate the use of force or fraud against others; and that no person should be forced to sacrifice his or her life, liberty, or property for the benefit of others. We hold that the voluntary exchange of goods and services – the free market – is the only arrangement of society that is morally defensible; and that the free market provides the greatest opportunity for prosperity and the pursuit of happiness. We hold that governments, where they exist, should limit their activities to protecting the life, liberty and property of individuals. When governments assume other functions, they usurp individual rights, replacing freedom with oppression.
Log Cabin Republicans – We courageously stand on the front lines of today’s most important battleground for gay and lesbian civil rights. We are the nation’s leading voice for fairness, inclusion, and tolerance in the GOP. Our party stands at a crossroads. The GOP must choose between fairness and freedom or intolerance and exclusion. Log Cabin works tirelessly to make sure the Republican Party chooses the right path. Ending up on the wrong side of history will cost the GOP for decades to come. So we strive to achieve liberty and equality for all Americans.

Grove of the Oak – We are an eclectic group of Druids, Wiccans, and other Pagans who gather twice a month and on the eight annual Celtic seasonal festivals, to share community, perform ritual, create magic, and support each other in our chosen earth-honoring pagan paths. Many of us were formerly solitary practitioners of Wicca, Druidry, Asatru, etc. before we came to the Grove, consequently, we do our best to avoid dogma.
