Bear Watch of Yuba/Sutter & Nevada County – We are a group created for gay men to have a social group for events and outings. Bear Watch is intended for bear-type gay man, but is not restricted to just bears. Any gay man in the Yuba/Sutter & Nevada County area may join. Central Valley Stonewall Democratic Club – We are committed to advance equal rights for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. We will support public policies that advance that mission in the United States, the State of California, and the greater Central Valley area. We will help elect qualified, openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people to public office, as well as Democratic Party candidates that support equal rights for the LGBT community. We will work to sensitize and educate all Democratic candidates and office holders, the Democratic Party in general, and the community at large, to the issues and concerns of the LGBT community. Solano Pride Center We provide services that support the well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Intersex people of Solano County. We were originally known as the Advisory Committee for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth, was established in January 1998. The first youth group began meeting in April of that year in Fairfield and was an immediate success. In July 1998 the GLBTQ Youth Advisory Committee broadened its focus and changed its name to the Solano Pride Center. In 2001, we became an official 501 3(c) non-profit organization.
